When your cat climbs up a tree and mews down at you, do you always feel a little upset? If so, then it's time to tell your cat that you share the hobby of climbing trees just as much as he or she does. The next time your cat climbs up a tree and looks at you helplessly, don't look back even more helplessly. Do something about it. s Try to interpret your cat's language. That pitiful mew isn't as pitiful or pathetic as you think. Your cat's probably teasing you, wondering why you don't enjoy climbing up the tree as much he or she does.

It's not difficult or scary to climb trees. Make sure that you have on a tough pair of trousers, strong shoes and a climbing ladder leaning against the tree. In the beginning, if you are scared to climb up a tree starting from the trunk, you can start off climbing up the ladder.

Your cats are going to be thrilled to have you up there, with them. Carry a small picnic hamper with you, a book that you like reading and your cat's favourite food. Then find, a really cool spot to sit.

Make yourself comfortable. Sit down and read. For a short while, you may feel you are in another universe.

If you enjoy climbing up trees as much as your cats do, then may be next time you can make yourself a nice little tree house.

This Sunday the first thing that you need to do is to go out into your garden, take your kids, if not the kids in the neighbourhood, call all your pets and get down to work building your own dream tree house.

Hop in there. Sit. Read. Play music or just take a short siesta.

Then, the next time you are out in the garden, think about planting a real baobab tree, brought all the way from Africa.
