Cat Painted and Hand Painted Mud Cards

Your
cat loves mud and so do you. What's the next best thing
to do for both of you - Well, you can play in the mud and
turn out some fine works of art. Mud can help you get some
very special effects when used artistically on paper, wood,
fabric or even ceramic.
Material
Different shades of mud
Red mud
Sandy brown mud
Dark brown clay
Depending
on the patterns to be created you can use
Plain strings of differing thickness
Strings with balls, bells or beads
Strings with thick, dry leaves and barks
Feathers
Strings with feathers
Large,
plain white sheets of handmade or recycled greeting card
paper.
Method
1. Mix mud well with water to make a thick paste.
2. Drop lots of strings of differing thickness into the
mud.
3. Let your cats enjoy chasing after them on the paper.
4. Let the sheets dry.
5. Brush off caked dry pieces of mud.
6. Wash off your cats paws
7. What you will have is a beautiful, mosaic of patterns
in mud colours.
8. Cut into greeting card sizes
9. They are now ready for use
10. If you like you can use a coat of varnish over the patterns
11. If you like to make some of your own cards, you can
use brush and paint on card paper with mud or with your
fingers.
