Boeing Outs the Cats!

Boeing! Boeing! Go, that's what the feral cats are going to say, if only they could speak. As many as 200 feral cats live comfortably on Boeing Land in California. However, events of the past few months have put the company in the glare of angry criticism. A year ago, in September 2000, Boeing announced a plan to have the feral cats removed from the grounds and euthanized.

Ever since that unpleasant directive issued by the company, there has been active concern and support for the long suffering cats from animal welfare activists, both in the U,S and other countries. A temporary halt on the decision by the company has put their employees on the midnight prowl feeding and protecting the feral cats occupying Boeing land. One hopes that Boeing will arrive at a peaceful solution to resolve the problem which still remains unsettled.
