shelter. She had a rather unattractive record of having
been the shelter's only kitten that nobody wanted to adopt.
In her kitten days she had never been playful and would
suffer frequent colds and coughs.

He was
called Scrif because he was very fond of hiding inside scarves.
A Somali brought all the way from Australia, Scrif was all
of one and half years old.Bright,
attentive and playful, he was everything you would want
in a cat. He could actually do tricks - a feat that few
other cats could do.
My
dream shall happen ..
Puss always wished she could go to the golden sand and the
lovely blue water that she had seen on the big screen in
the town square. Puss loves the sound of the gushing waters.
It makes her dream a lot - of vast beautiful places covered
with sand. She has seen them all in her dreams and not in
reality.
Scoofie
wakes up!
He was a sleepy cat. He was called Scoofie ever since he
had been adopted as an eight week old kitten by the Fields.
Now, he was seven years old. He slept 16-18 hours a day.
All he did all day was sleep.
No! He didn't like to play games. Nor go for walks. He was
a happy,
sleepy cat who purred all day like a loudly, whirring fan.
Porridge
goes to work!:
His name was Porridge. Why did his owners call him Porridge?
It was still not clear to Porridge although it was obvious
to everybody.
Bingo's
world:
Bingo was a cat with black eyes - rather unusual for a cat
but there he was. He had big black eyes and a coat that
was striped all over - grey, white and black. Rather unusually,
somewhat like a zebra's coat. How did he get that coat?
Nobody knew.
Identity
Crises:
She is white with black spots all over. So, George who is
all of twelve decided to name her Salt-n-Pep. She is the
love of the house.
The
letter box:
Meet Martha Graham. She stays in Dover in a lovely little
cottage close to the sea. Ten years ago, she had decided
to settle down in Dover. Her daughter, Jennifer's voice
still echoes in her head, " Mamma, if you decide to
stay in Dover, we will all be there with you every weekend
and on all holidays".
