to your imagination to device a system that works
well for you, your cat and your family.
This
could be a manual pressure sensitive counter that
uses a system of pulleys or any other method that
would work well for you and your cat.
It
could be even beads dropping into a box below
your cat's litter box or it could be a string
that moves when your cat steps on the litter box
mat or it could be a electronic gadget - that
works on a similar principle like an electronic
weighing scale.
If
you are familiar with electronic gadgets you could
design one yourself or you could even ask a friend
to help you do this.
Once
your litter box counter is ready, try using it
for your cat and at the end of each day, keep
a record of the number of times your cat uses
the litter box.
Maintain
a separate diary for this. It will come in handy
whenever you want to rule out the possibility
of any gastro-intestinal infection or urinary
tract infections in your cat.
