Make a personalized back stroker for your cats

A back stroker is an ideal gift to make for your cats especially if you are not around all day at home with them. In your absence, a good back stroker can enhance your cat's happiness equation considerably.

Material
4 Soft brushes with long, silky bristles / feathers
A small stand where the brushes can be fixed side by side

Method

Measure your cat's floor to top of back height.
Fix the stand for the brushes in a central place of your cat's personal space
Fix the brushes side by side on the stand or with a short distance between adjacent brushes. When you fix the brushes, don’t forget to make sure that the brushes are placed bristle side down.
The back stroker should be such that when your cat walks under one, it will be like walking beneath a personalized arch for the back.
Every fortnight, remove the brushes, soak them in warm soapy water and wash well.
Air dry in mild sunshine before fixing them back in place.
