American Humane's 2003 Conference starting soon!

If you have always dreamt of saving animals, but didn't know how to go about it, here's your big chance. American Humane's annual conference is held every September. It helps animal lovers and those who wish to be active doers - to keep updated with the latest technology, procedures, and issues about protecting animals.

If you attend the conference, you can network with hundreds of exhibitors, veterinarians, animal welfare groups and activists from all over the country working with shelters.

Veterinarians who work in shelters or would like to do so have a special program designed for
them. Called the Shelter Veterinarian Educational Program it will help empower vets with the special skills needed to work in animal shelters.
