In
Australia, on National Threatened Species Day, 7
th September 2003, John Hill, Minister for Environment
and Conservation reviewed the situation and outlined
a plan of action.
In the discussion paper presented by him, on the
basis of a 3 year review, changes have been proposed
to the threatened species schedules of the National
Parks and Wildlife Act 1972.
