Call for Consultation from Nuffield Council on Bioethics

On 3rd October 2003, the Nuffield Council on Bioethics had a major discussion and consultation session on research that involves the use of animals. Those interested in participating in discussions and giving their comments and views may contact the Centre. The consultation paper can be viewed at www.nuffieldbioethics.org/animal research. The last date for sending in your comments is 15th December 2003.

Areas that the Council invites comments in include: the acceptability of using animals, developing alternatives to animal research, regulations in the UK, and the provision of information to the public.
