Do a chakra work-out – part 1

Written by Dr.Laxmi Iyer

The time has come. Chakras are in the air and everywhere. Everyone’s talking about them. Whirling, spinning, swooshing, wooshing, tossing, turning…

It’s high time you saw them, heard them and charged them up – both for you, your family and your pets.

Are you aware, unaware or busy writing it off as ancient unscientific gibberish.

Don’t. What is science if not a way of observing, verifying, understanding and then proving.

Hindu sages and mystics have spoken about them. Some scientists have studied them seriously and have come up with some mind blowing observations
Listen to the chakra spins seriously…they can unspool your energy…invigorating and revitalizing your life.

What are these chakras anyways? They are sacred centres in your body and your pet’s body which are in tune with the cosmic energy.

The word chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel or disc.

There are believed to be 7 major chakras charkas in the body.
They are :

  • Muladhara Chakra
  • Svadhishthana chakra
  • Manipura chakra
  • Anahata chakra
  • Vishuddha chakra
  • Ajna chakra
  • Sahasrara chakra

Charging your chakras are an efficient, ultra low cost way to get back your high priced radiance and vitality. Exercise, yoga, music and meditation are simple ways to charge up the charkas.

In the next part of this article, the significance of each chakra will be discussed.
