Volunteers needed for WAR this December
Ranong,
Thailand's wettest province has a WAR ( a Thai warriors
group) in action - desperately fighting to save the sea
turtles and dugongs. Baan Talae Nork in Ranong has mangrove
forests which are among the largest, in the Indo-Pacific
region. The internet address of this amazingly active crusaders
is fittingly called warthai.
Baan
Talae Nork , close to the Ranong Tidal Estuary with its
strong currents is a great place to explore, observe, save,
serve and study. The majority of the sea turtles come to
breed around the 4 km long beach at Baan Talae Nork. Other
breeding sites include Kam Islands 4kms.
