What's
the latest, most interesting way to get birds learning
to get going on a migration flight. Well, the answer
is to have watched the sky in Wiscosin. Recently,
people in central Wisconsin watched the skies light
up with an incredibly beautiful phenomenon. People
dressed up in bird costumes flying in ultra light
aircraft led a flock of 9 whooping cranes on the first
leg of a 1250 kilometre migratory journey. Whooping
cranes, stand five feet tall and fly at a speed of
35 miles per hour.
