Visit a class room with your pets

It's
freezing cold outside. No two questions about that.
There's no place one can really go out to in this
weather. Thank goodness for central heating.
The holiday season has just got over. Your kids have
to get back to school. There's a fun thing that you
can do. You can encourage the friendliest and calmest
pets in your family to accompany you to your kid's
school.
Now,
that's going to be loads and loads of fun for you
and for your kids to do. The day you make this special
announcement, watch how quickly your kids will get
ready.

They
will be half an hour ahead of schedule and would even help
you to get the pets ready to accompany them.
Now,
first things first. Okay. So, you've made up your mind to
take your pets to your kid's school...but have you cleared
the big question?
Have
you got permission from the school authorities? Are the
principal and your kid's class teacher okay with your pets
doing their grand rounds?
This
can turn out into a big area of conflict if your kid's school
has very strict do's and don'ts about whether pets can come
and see kids in class. If you don't want to have a major
brawl, get this issue sorted out first.
Once
you get the clearance from the school, decide upon the time.
Is it going to be during the recess or is there going to
be a special half an hour free after lunch time? Verify
with your kid's class teacher on this matter first.
Carry
all your pet's snacks and other essential stuff that you
always carry while travelling with your pets. Also, don't
forget to make sure that they are through with their vaccine
and deworming routines.
Last,
remember to share something funny or memorable that happened
to you and your kids when you were with your pets. A warm,
endearing story can cause the local animal shelter in your
neighbourhood to be flooded with a long list of special
requests from kids.
Never
underestimate the pester power strength of kids to help
all the stray and unwanted pets in your neighbourhood to
get adopted.
Your
visit with the pets will serve two purposes. A change from
the routine for you and your kids. Your contribution to
animal welfare by setting up a huge adoption plan into action.
Also,
don't forget to carry some special snacks to share with
all the children in your kid's class. Cheers! And have a
good time!
