Owlishly Funny!

The
adventures of two barred barn owls may well have been
mysterious events from an adventure novel. Going by
the way people have responded to the impish young
owls devilish delights, owl watching may soon
become serious entertainment business. The owls have
become a major crowd puller in a small time, sleepy
little suburb of Canada. The two one year old barred
owls have been found hawking people quite literally,
with an eagle eyed or hawk eyed glare. The owls have
been spotted at work, but really having fun in a Canadian
park in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

This
is how the owls get to work. They perch themselves at a
comfortable distance from a vulnerable park visitor. When
they feel that the visitor has settled down to a comfortable
evening ahead in the park, they swoop down and steal his
hat, tug at the pony tails of little girls and big girls,
and even go around threatening pets. They even have a good
time sitting down on peoples heads. In owlish, one
would call that a really swooping gesture! They have fun
and rather than scaring visitors off, the people too are
getting tickled by the funny pranks played by the owl pair.
